Greenhalgh Dazzlers ‘Sparkle and Shine’ At Hospice Charity Event
A team from Nottingham based Greenhalgh Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors has raised over £1,100 for a local charity by taking part in a sponsored walk.
The Moonlight Memory Walk, held to raise funds for Nottinghamshire Hospice, took place on 17 July 2010. The theme for the event was “Sparkle and Shine” and the “Greenhalgh Dazzlers” team joined over 400 other fundraisers, as well as former Eastenders star Ricky Groves, in the 10 km walk around Nottingham.
Greenhalgh Business Development & Marketing Manager Lynette Stainforth was one of those who took part in the walk, along with Greenhalgh Director of Corporate Finance, Colin Peacock, who is also a Trustee of the Hospice.
Says Lynette Stainforth, “As one of our clients, the Nottinghamshire Hospice is a charity very close to our hearts and we were delighted to be able to support them by taking part in this year’s Moonlight Memory Walk. To have raised over £1,100 is an amazing achievement and we would like to say a big thank you to all the very generous people who sponsored us”.
